Traveling to Canada from US as non US citizen

I have a european passport, expired green card however I have a i787 extension letter, extending the validity of my card by 18 months.

Will I be able to enter Canada?

I did some googling and while the Canadian site did not mention extension letter, it did mention that non US Citizens that are permanent residents need to have a valid green card or ADIT stamp (i551) in passport.

I dont have the stamp, however I know that US Immigration will let me in with i797 as I traveled internationally not too long ago. My concern is canada and will they let me in.
