I am planning to apply for J1 renewal from India. I have the new DS 2019 with me. Does anyone know how much time it is taking for the renewal process in general in India and for J1 in particular? Is getting an interview appointment at VFS tricky? My last visa was not issued in India, so I am not sure if I am eligible for an interview waiver there (according to the ustravel guidelines). To be honest, I am confused about the entire renewal process in India. Two different websites are mentioning two different methods. Please help and thank youuu!!
