Do I need to be fully vaccinated to come back to the USA?

Heya everyone

I am planning on coming back to the USA (right now I am in Italy)

Now... My worry is do I need to be fully vaccinated or is the 24h test enough? Because in Italy they don't have the third dose ready :/
