I am a US citizen, my wife isn’t. We live outside the states and would like to visit for the holiday season. However, my wife’s visa application has been denied twice already although this was before we were married, last time she applied was before covid hit. Every time she applied, she presented proof of having “ties” to the country we’re living in right now (she has a house in her name, car, she had a job and everything) but got denied every time. We got married in May and were hoping we could spend the holiday season in the US but she’s reluctant to apply, saying it’s a waste of time because they would probably assume we’d want to bring her in the states to bypass immigration laws. Does anyone know how likely a third tourist visa application is to be denied now that we’re married and she has a history of getting denied in the past? I know there’s no definitive answer to this question but maybe someone can share their own experience.
