What documents does my future employer need from my previous employer to file my PERM/I-140 application?
The company I currently work for, which is the only company I have ever worked for, doesn't give me anything more than a generic employment verification letter with my job title, start date, and end date.
I was told that if my employer doesn't me an employment verification letter I can ask my supervisor to give me a letter. I have worked for two teams in this company. I am not on talking terms with the supervisor of my previous team. Out of the 4.5 years of experience that I have, about 3 years of that experience is with my previous team. Do I need a letter from both of my supervisors? How does this work?
