Background: Me and my wife have been granted non-immigrant status and are waiting for new visas to become available. We’ve received our temporary 2 year work permits in Aug of last year.
After receiving these items, our immigration lawyer decided to retire and recommended us to another lawyer. However after speaking to them, I was not confident in leaving my case to them.
My question is whether or not a lawyer will be necessary form this point forward? Can I file any paper work without the need of an lawyer from this point?
