Hi, I have a question regarding the cases processed electronically via CEAC portal. I requested a green card for my father and after submitting everything in the portal and getting it all reviewed/approved they finally scheduled the interview, but during the interview he was surprised with the information that a few documents were missing (documents that I had already submitted in the CEAC portal, and even double checked and they were). I emailed the US embassy about this, sent screenshots from CEAC proving I did submit them and they were all approved, but they couldn't care less and said they needed those documents.
We ended up sending them through their courier service, after review it was approved and now he has his Immigration Visa. My question is: since there are no locked packets to bring with him when he enters the US because it's all electronic now, what happens if whatever they need to check there is missing, just like it happened during the interview? Is he denied entry for good? If he needs to wait for them to fix the documentation on their system and his IV expires, do we need to start it all over again?
Any help is much appreciated.
