I am in a PhD program in electrical engineering in the US, currently entering my second year. I will be getting my MSc degree in Summer 2022. I am trying to consider different career options.
If I go to management consulting, will I still have the STEM OPT opportunities same as if I graduated with my PhD?
Also, if I do that, can they be part of OPT, STEM OPT extension? Since management consulting is not directly related to field of study, I am not sure about it.
Thanks.
