Filing Tax Returns After ITIN Expires

Hello,

First off I apologize if this is not the right subreddit. I am finally getting around to filing 2020 tax returns and have to renew my ITIN also. I was wondering if someone has experience submitting the W-7 form along with their tax return papers. Do I just put it in the same file as my federal tax returns going to the IRS?
