If someone applies for diversity visa and during the time the diversity visa applications are being processed this person applies for a tourism or visit visa to visit the US, would the gov deny her the visiting visa for fear of them trying to settle in the US through the visit visa? Or would they deny them the diversity visa selection based on their application for a visit visa?
