Hello, I am a US citizen and my mother had a 221g on the grounds that she needed a joint sponsor because our household income was too low. I live with my sister and because we are students we only had a total of 19k a year income back then so they refused to give her a green card and asked for a joint sponsor. Now I do not have anyone that I can ask to sponsor us so my sister got a part time job and now our total income per year is 42k. my question is do we really need to submit a joint sponsor? or will we still be denied even if we submit our taxes of our new income?
