Can I quit my job? I’m a petitioner

Hello! So Im a US citizen in the process for petitioning for a k1 visa for my fiancé. I make really good money but I’m MISERABLE here. I am waiting for the NOA2 so I’m worried if I quit now it will impact the process incase they are doing a background check.

I want to try and stick it out but I really hate it here. When push comes to shove if it would risk the visa I’ll suck it up but just wanted to know my options.
