Hello my fiancèe has the medical exam for the k1 visa in a little under a week. However I had read depression and self harm can possibly cause you to fail the medical exam.
My fiance used to self harm, it has been about 5 years or so since she has done it however she still has scars on her arms and legs from it. She also had depression which was mostly resolved once she got medicated by a psychiatrist. She has never attempted suicide, only self harm via cutting.
So I am curious if there is any documentation we should prepare about this, and if this could possibly cause problems in the medical exam.
