Hello, I'm planning to apply for a b1/b2 visa, my question is : when I say I'm employed at a particular place, do the visa officials call up that place to cross check it? I'm asking this because I work in a government institute in India and It's notoriously inefficient, I'm worried they will not respond to the visa officers call
Simply my question is : How do us visa officers check/verify our employment claims in our b1/b2 application.
