Would remote working for a USA company would be detrimental to my future outlook for an EB2 - H1B visa?

I'm neither a USA resident nor live there. Let's say I've got an offer to remote work for a USA company. They would be willing to sponsor my visa. Do you think signing a contract and being paid a salary would be detrimental to my case when applying for either a H1B or EB2 visa? (I've got a USA university Master's degree on Computer Science)
