I am from New Zealand and have had a trip planned to go to LA for 2 months while seeing friends and networking this upcoming July.
I then thought as I'm on that side of the world I'll fly down to Mexico for 2 months to chill out a bit (while winter here).
From my research, it seems like the 90 days VWP/ESTA stays counting when I go to Mexico. Can anyone shed some light on this?
Would I technically only be allowed to go USA for 55 days then Mexico for 25 (to give 10 days before visa runs out) for example? Is there any legal way around this?
I'd like to spend 60 or so days in US and then 60 in Mexico.
