So she is here on an ESTA from Germany and stayed legally due to covid. We have had like 9 Satisfactory Departures approved in a row, because of the pandemic. I was a fucking idiot to not think of a backup plan during this time. We are engaged, but can't apply for a K1 with her still in the country. To be honest, we want to know how long she has to leave with this Satisfactory Departure denial, and we want to figure out if there is a way she can stay for the mean time?
We know we could just get married, but we are desperate to avoid having to get married under these circumstances. We love each other, but we're still working out our relationship to make it work for marriage. We don't want to rush into things under stress and end up another divorce statistic like both our parents.
