Hi, everyone. So my wife got her EAD card on Monday December 6th at our old address, we had moved on December 3rd but put the mail forwarding on December 10th to our new address. We had access to our old address for a couple of days after the move. We're now living in the new address and her SSN card still has not come 7 business days after the EAD arrived.
Will the SSN even come with a change of address with USPS?? What can we do now do we have to go to the local Social Security office (even though they told us they won't have appointments until next year). This sucks because she started applying for jobs since she got the EAD and already got a job offer she wants to accept. The employer needs the SSN to do the background check.
