I'm on F1 & my wife's in F2. She needs either an ITIN or SSN because without that she can't get credit card, build credit history or many other important stuff. Is it possible for her to get ITIN or SSN? I'm pretty sure SSN is not possible due to unemployment. What about ITIN? Can somebody provide advice? Thanks!
