Visa granted under the condition that the entry ban has been lifted. Passport expired.

Hello,

I am curious if anyone has been in a similar situation. I was granted a B1 visa in September 2020 but it was not put into my passport. The consulate was supposed to do this after the entry ban was lifted (which was on November 8). To date I have not received any information from the embassy. In the meantime, my passport connected with application - expired. The document I got from the consul also expired. In this case, do I have to re-register for a new visa appointment? Currently the waiting time can take up to a year :(
