Hello all, I am trying to bring my fiancee to the states from Albania with the F-129 petition which has been approved. The consulate of Albania has now sent us a list of what needs to be sent to their office in order for them to schedule the visa appointment. One of the requirements is filling out the sponsor papers. The problem with that is that I do not have my Citizen number, which is required in that form and currently waiting on USCIS for the replacement Naturalization certeficate. This could take up to six months to arrive. We have to send our paper work to the consulate of Albania before that (December 4th) or they expire. Does anyone have any suggestions of what can be done? Can i send the paperwork without the C-number with a special message explaining why I don’t have it? Also I contacted an immigration lawyer to see if they are able to look up citizenship number for an additional fee and they said they couldn’t. Also, it’s a requirement for me to be a sponsor to my fiancé regardless of the financial situation and if I have a joint sponsor. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
