Hi, when is the earliest I can renew my F1 visa before it expires? My visa expires in summer 2022 however my I-20 date is summer 2023, and I do want to travel internationally between those dates. It's most convenient for me to renew this December, is that possible? Will the duration of the renewed visa be the same as the original one (5 years) or shorter due to my program ending earlier?
