My partner is applying for his I-130 and is being sponsored by his US citizen dad. He applied back in 2018 and has been with the California Service Center ever since.
I check the processing times once a month to see what the current date is and when everything will be sent off to the NVC.
As of August 10th, there is no form type listed in California for US Citizens filing for an unmarried son or daughter over 21.
With his dad, we called the USCIS and asked them what is going on, the woman told us we are still being processed in California and to just wait, but also said there was probably just a glitch with the system and would correct August 15th at the latest.
Since it's past the 15th, and has not corrected, I am curious to know what this means? The woman was on the phone with us for literally a minute and had no idea to what we were referring to and kept telling us that the USCIS processing website updates every month, but it definitely updates daily.
If anyone has any experience with something related, or can comment on this, I would greatly appreciate it. We've been at this over three years now and want to make sure everything is still okay.
