Planning to move to the US from Canada, how hard is it for my situation?

Before starting I would like to mention that I’m not executing anything for now, I’m currently 18 in a CÉGEP program (Pre-College but Post-Secondary thing in Quebec) so I understand things might change but I’m still confused.

To start, I have no US relatives that are close (only extended family) and as said before I’m not in university however planning to do a Dentistry course (which I think is a NAFTA approved job), so here are my questions :

Is it a better idea to study in the US or here in Canada?

If so for studying in the US how hard is the process usually for someone to get a degree and find a job while becoming eligible to live in the States?

Also are Canadian students allowed to work in the US? I know it usually isn’t but since the visa situation is different I wonder.

Cheers!
