My stem opt status is expiring in 20 days cause I'm running out of unemployment days. So I'm applying to go back to community college to save my visa/status.
My only issue is that all the deadlines for the Fall semester have already passed, so I'm applying for the spring semester. It would still be within 5 months. That would still be within the cap-gap period right??
I'm concerned cause I read somewhere that to do this you must "start school in the first available semester within 5 months of that expiration date"
Would spring semester still count as first available semester consider the fall admission deadlines have passed?
