Hey! I have a question regarding the ESTA. I'm a German citizen, residence is in Germany, too. I am planning to see a specialist for my condition who is based in California. This trip would only include a one time assessment, it is not for treatment purposes. Do I need the B2 visa or can I see a physician with ESTA? As mentioned, I would only see this doctor once, so I wouldn't stay longer than a week or two max. I know Covid currently restricts my possibilities of traveling to the US from the EU, my question is not necessarily based on Covid but if it's possible to see a doctor in the US on an ESTA in general. Thank you kindly for any replies.
