Can applying for green card before H1B affect chances of H1B approval?

As the post says, I work for a large company that has offered to apply for a PERM application on my behalf. However, I’m currently on OPT and don’t have an H1B visa yet.

Would applying for a green card before H1B affect my chances of getting an H1B? Something about dual intent.
