Some questions about obtaining PR of Spain

Hello, everyone. I am a Chinese high school graduate, and I want to apply for universities in Spain for immigration. I have found some information on the official website of Spain Immigration Office, but I still have some questions:

Is every application for PR (non-EU) processed case by case? If yes, how can I prepare for it to help me get PR successfully?
It is said that the unemployment rate in Spain still remains high, even before COVID-19 pandemic, is it true?
I love science, and I am dying to enter universities or institutions to do research. Is it easier to get PR?
