Can I use foreign drivers license as an ID card when asked for a government issued-ID?

Am I able to use my Quebec driver's license as an ID for everyday ID purpose? i.e. buying alcohol, getting into a show that requires government-issued ID alongside your proof of vaccination. Just wondering since I just moved to the US!
