pr in america??

i’m deciding where to apply for uni rn and i’ve always wanted to go to america. however, my home country is rather a mess and i would want to work towards a pr in the country i go to university in. i was wondering what r my chances of getting a pr in america if i graduated from unis like ucberkley, ucla and nyu (if i apply to america will also apply to the ivies but that isn’t v realistic). my school has v good placements with ucla and nyu that’s why they r considered my match schools.

as a whole i’ve heard that it’s practically impossible to get a pr in america and i was thinking of canada since they have friendly immigration laws. what’s anyone’s opinion? or experience?
