My ESTA has not been authorised (don't really know why, I meet all the criteria, my record is clear and I haven't been to the US in over 10 years), and I have submitted a Travel Inquiry form through DHS TRIP asking if they could double-check or at least confirm the reason behind the refusal. Does anyone know approximately how long this process takes? Has anybody had their ESTA's successfully approved this way? Was hoping to travel at the end of the summer, so any guidance on this would be appreiated.
