Hey guys, Recently my family decided that we will travel to U.S in December for a short vacation but we don’t have U.S tourist visa so we went ahead and filled the online b2/Ds-160 application form. Today was the last day for us to pay the non-refundable fee and we paid it today.
Now the problem is that while filling the form my dad made a mistake, in the question ‘intended length of stay in us:’ he entered 2 weeks for me, my brother and for himself but for my mom he entered 2 months. Now my question is will it affect our chances to get a visa? Can she say to the officer that will be interviewing her that she will be staying/traveling to U.S for two weeks but by mistake she entered 2 months in the application or should she just say to him/her that she will be staying for 2weeks in U.S.
We didn’t book any flight or hotel yet.
