I-94 Renewal for H1b , what is the best option right now

Hello ,

I Entered in USA last year and because of my passport expiration date I got only 1 year of stay , Even though I have 3 years valid stamp. I have question about crossing the border at san diego and coming back .. I dont want to fly Out of usa considering covid situation even though cases are falling.

any one tried crossing at San diego border and came back to update I-94 ? will current travel ban till 21st June affect it ? I called to CBP office ( not to san diego but general inquiry number given on web site ) they said work is essential so I can walk to mexico bridge and come back to usa .. any one has experienced it ? can any one provide otay mesa san diego CBP office number , I tried numbers provided on CBP website but its not working .

NVC Case FE Review note

Hi everyone, my family and I are under the F3 category and we just received a notice from NVC that our documents have been approved and that we are Documentarily Qualified. My only concern is this message that we received today in addition to the acceptance: ​ " [Name of petitioner] does not meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrants for this case. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this requirement at the time of the interview. For more information, please visit https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p . To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 for a joint sponsor may be submitted." ​ We already have a petitioner and a household sponsor (the household sponsor's income is above the required level), but still unsure why we received this.
