Brother in law was born in the UK. He got the passport when he was a baby 25+ years ago and never renewed. Still has the passport. Now he wants to renew that old passport and has to send it. We are in Turkey. He just found out that he needs a referee, a UK citizen who can vouch for him. Problem is his parents came back to Turkey many years ago and he grew up here.
Any ideas? Perhaps a service or a work around? Seems silly to us because it's simply someone who signs a document saying they know him.
