I am filing Form I-864 to sponsor my spouse however I have only filed the last 2 years (2020, 2019) of tax returns. The Form asks whether or not I’ve filed the last 3 previous years and to indicate the total income filed for each year. My income is high enough to sponsor my spouse but I am concerned since I have not filed my 2018 return (I was living in Canada at the time). Will this cause any issues with the application?
