I'm a US citizen currently studying and residing in Mexico. This month I got married and would like to file form I-130 for my spouse, however, I'm unaware of the difficulty in doing this since as I am currently studying here in Mexico, I have no plan of moving to the United States for at least another 5 years (while I finish my bachelor's degree). I do however go to the US during vacational periods to work.
Is it still possible to obtain a green card for my spouse or is there anything else that you recommend?
