I sent my OPT EAD application to USCIS on the 27th of October. It reached USCIS on the 28th October. It’s almost been a month right now and I still haven’t received any notification from them regarding my application.
My classmates who’d sent their applications in the early days of October received their case IDs and receipt numbers in 7-15 days. It’s going to be 30 days for me.
Is anyone else in a similar situation? What timeline can I expect? I had selected my EAD start date as Jan 25th. What happens if my EAD cars doesn’t come before that?
