Been married for almost three years. Filed for petition by him. I now have a temporary green card that will expire January 2021 (in two months). I know I need to apply for I-751, but don’t know what to do now that he wants a divorce. I initially wanted kids. He knows that since we’ve been together (on and off) for more than 10 years as boyfriend and girlfriend. Now than I’m older, I’m just not comfortable having kids due to my age and financial status.
Need any feedback or advice on how to proceed or where to go from here. Should I apply before filing a divorce, or would it better to divorce first before applying? I live in Los Angeles, if that makes a difference.
