NC DMV does renew driver's license based on I-797c receipt notice only

Just putting it here for future reference...

North Carolina (Charlotte area) DMV does actually accept I-797c receipt notice for EB3 I-485 and EAD application to renew / extend driver's license for 6 months - starting from the notice date on I-797c.
