I have a friend from Mexico visiting on a tourist visa, she’s a Mexican national. She wants to know whether she can bring her daughter, who is a US citizen. She has her daughter’s birth certificate proving it too. However, the daughters father is no longer in the picture. Does my friend have to get permission from the father to bring the USC daughter even though he’s no longer in the picture?
