Hi, I'm trying to figure out what I need and if I'm missing anything, while doing the income part of the K-1 Visa.
I'm the US citizen, fiance is from japan. We're good on every other part of requirements, but I'm lost on the income part. I did not file taxes for 2019 because I made around $7k, so I'm within poverty. I do at least have about $30k in savings (Mix of cash, bank savings, stocks) and My father makes well enough so I planned to have him as joint sponsor.
So do I just fill out a form-134 affidavit of support form and he does as well? (With me adding my assets to mine) Is there anything I'm missing? Anything to worry about? I was recommended to also attach copies of the forms to the K-1 application as it helps prove I can support her.
Any input will be appreciated. Thank you!
