I’m in removal proceedings, but I want an ead while the case is going on. My lawyer says I’ll have to file i485 with immigration court, i130 with Uscis but also send a copy of the i485 and receipt fees to Uscis, then I’ll be able to get a work permit.
Is that how it works, has anyone been in this kind of situation.
