I am petitioned by my parents and have been a permanent resident for 2 years now, my partner came here with a J-1 visa and extended his stay by applying and getting approved of tourist visa twice and he’s working for my cousin for cash. The expiration of his visa is unknown, i guess it was delayed because of covid.
I am pregnant with his child and would want to petition him. What are the requirements? How do i do it? My dad said i would have to make at least 22k per year for the petition to not be denied. I won’t be able to do that when I am taking care of my baby. We plan on getting married on December but I don’t know how to start with the petition. Please help.
