Hi all! I'm posting this in a bunch of places, so apologies for cross-posts.
I am an immigrant adjusting my status via marriage to a U.S. Citizen. I filed in August and have received nothing except receipt notices.
I am trying to collect information and people's stories about USCIS biometrics delays and how they are impacting people.
I received some interest from an immigrant law advocacy group, but they had some questions about how widespread and longstanding the problems are.
The delays are obviously related to the pandemic, but many people have been waiting months for biometrics appointments, which are needed for work and travel, among other things.
I created a Google Form to try to capture people's stories. So far I have about 50 responses. I'd love to get to 100. If you are interested in sharing your information on biometrics delays, please consider filling out the form. All responses are voluntary and anonymous (unless you opt to share contact info with me, which is 100% optional). Please share this form among any other people or groups you think would be interested.
Thank you!
