Are certain TN Visa professions being prioritized over others esp w/ the travel bans between the US and Canada b/c of the pandemic?
For example, would someone coming to the States and applying for a TN Visa as a Pharmacist/someone who is working within medicine or science, have an easier time than a Graphic Designer in obtaining a TN Visa right now?
If this were the case, in my mind, it seems really subjective when thinking about the other professions on the list -you could argue that an architect should be approved if they're helping to build a hospital, but I feel that that scenario is too specific, and wouldn't have been thought of to that extent in the NAFTA agreement.
Also, would any Canadian driving to the border to get a TN Visa under any profession be considered essential travel (for work), and therefore exempt from the travel ban between borders?
