Hey folks! Couple of quick questions! There's thousands of folks here so i figured this should be a good place to see if others faced this too.

I had a typo in spouse's name in my ds160 and noticed this after scheduling visa appointment. So i filled out another ds160, corrected the DOB typo and saved this new one for my records, printed out the confirmation page too. And based on what i read online, went to cgifederal portal (travel docs) and under "update profile" provided this new confirmation number and saved this. Does that sound good? Hope i dont need to pay the visa fee again :/

To keep things flexible, we planned to schedule diff h1b and h4 appointments. Since my spouse will have more moving parts to her application like updating her passport name (she insists) we think it will be best. Now, i was wondering if i can still accompany her to the h4 appointment regardless of having a separate h1b interview myself? To relieve her a bit..
