So I am currently working as a Site Reliability Engineer in Canada. My responsibilities include setting up monitoring and alerting, dealing with incident management, change management procedures, administering servers and automating various tasks using Python, GoLang and other tools.
There are plenty of amazing positions in the US which I would like to interview for. However, due to the fact that my education is a Computer Programmer diploma, 4 out of 6 years of experience are in Full Stack Development, and various SRE positions mention having to code/develop/program I don't know if it's a possibility to get a TN visa.
I'd really appreciate if someone who finds this relatable or knows if this is doable can share their experience with me.
