Long story short I am a greek citizen and my fiance is a US citizen. He found a very good job in the USA and he needs to leave in a few weeks. Obviously I want to go to the states with him but the whole getting a visa thing seems just insane. We went through ALL the options but we still feel kinda stuck so I want your opinion and your expertise on some things.
We are thinking of getting married outside the US as 1st option and I have these questions 1. Does CR1 visa takes for sure 1 to 2 years? Especially now? I've seen on a lawyer's video that they go through the process a little bit quicker... Have you heard anything or do you know anything? 2. Can you visit your spouse while your visa is processing?
And some other questions: 1. If I enter the US under ESTA and get married there and return to my country is that okay? And start the process of the CR1 when I return.. 2. Can you enter US with ESTA through a country that is not in the travel ban that the states have due to covid?
