Green Card and U.S. Citizenship faster way according to my situation.

Hi, I'm a married 29 years old TN work visa holder, working in the USA since 2019.

I have a U.S. citizen half-brother (we have the same biological father). Our father lives in Mexico. (We three were born in Mexico).

I know my half-brother could petition our father for a green card without wait, then our father would become citizen.

Considering I'm already legally working and living in the USA, what path is faster?

From my half-brother to our father and then to me. Or straight from my half-brother to me?

My goal is to get an open work permit not tied to my employer. Thanks.

N-400 form {"data":null,"error":{"developerMessage":null,"userMessage":null}} message

A few questions: I filed my N400 naturalization on March 23, 2020. Nearly one year later on Feb 2021 they sent me a notice that they'll reuse my biometrics from my green card application, but they won't refund the biometric fee! At the same time April 2021 showed up on my account as the expected completion date. Last week, the status was "17 days". Today the estimated time of completion has disappeared!!! Any idea what that means?
