My mother is entering the usa soon on an immigrant visa, and we want to file an I 130 for my underage brother. My question is, can she begin file for the I 130 form before she receives her green card? Because we are in a bit of a hurry, and I know that green card typically takes awhile upto 90 days to get delivered. Also does she need a social security number to file the I 130? And lastly if you or someone you know gotten a green card before, how long did it take for it to be delivered to your house?
